QONQR meant a lot to Dad and was one of the things he enjoyed most in his retirement. He was launching right up until minutes before he died on 3/10/24. Dad was 83 years old at the time of his death.
He was incredibly consistent and persistent. He was also extremely supportive of any Faceless efforts and helped organize a number of ops. Dad was on our NC leadership team. He had also developed friends in other factions, particularly some of the Legion players in Virginia. He appreciated receiving messages from other players.
He took great pride in outlasting opponents. He simply never gave up and never conceded.
QONQR was the only mobile game I ever saw him play. I was shocked he actually played when my brother (Bayou) invited him. But we treasured having the game in common with him.
Thanks @silver for creating this community and providing this terrific outlet for Dad.

I only heard from YellerCukes a couple of times in the game, but I very much enjoyed hearing the many stories BuYu would share about Cukes.
The mark that Cukes made on the game since starting play in July of 2013 is not a small one. He currently holds 947 zone captures, 1091 zone leads, and has nearly 197 million bots on the map.
My condolences and sincere wish for healing go out to BuYu, Bayou, and all the friends and family of YellerCukes.
